Boba Fett Prototype This is a version of Boba Fett as seen in early Empire Strikes Back production paintings by Ralph McQuarrie. I've been calling him "Proto Fett." I used the Boba Fett from the 1996 Shadows of the Empire two-pack. Most of it is painted white with the armor on the chest and arms grey. The poncho is made from a handkerchief dipped in white glue. I placed it on the figure and molded it to the right shape, then let it dry. Then I coated it with liquid latex rubber and painted it. Now it has a plastic feel but still shows the fabric weave of the cloth. He still needs a new rocket pack and a helmet sensor/antenna. |
