Luke Jedi with Interchangeable Hands

This custom is a Luke Jedi with different hands. The hands are magnetically interchangeable. First I made two casts of Luke's right hand. Then I cut the figure's hand off and hollowed out the hands and some of the forearm with a Dremel. Then I took some rare earth magnets from Radio Shack and cut them in half with wire cutters. I put half a magnet in each hand and one in the arm. The most important thing was to make sure the magnet was facing the right way so that each piece would be attracted. Then I painted the two hand casts to show the other two variations of Luke: ungloved, and marred by a blaster.
