FX R2-D2

I started working on this custom right before Kenner came out with the FX line.

I cut small holes in the head and glued in model railroad light bulbs. The bulbs come in colors but I had to repaint them with glass paint to emphasize the color. The wires from the bulbs are bound together and run down the back of the third leg and into the base (Bubble Tape container).The base contains a AA battery wired to a switch.

The head still turns but I put a stopper in it to limit the rotation so the wires won't get messed up.
