Cantina Dude Cantina Dude is a spacer briefly seen in the Mos Eisley Cantina. I think he's one of the most obscure characters in the original trilogy. The best shot of him is at the beginning of the Cantina scene, at the start of the first sweeping panoramic shot. He has a yellow flight suit that is identical to Bossk's (even the shoulder patches). The costume shop must have reused it when they threw together Bossk's costume. This makes for a unique, "reverse engineered" custom. Cantina Dude is a '97 Bossk body with '97 AT-ST Driver gloves and boots and a Shuttle Pilot Johnny Quest helmet. I repainted the tan color on the Bossk body white to match the helmet. The inside of the helmet is painted black. I thought of giving him a head under the helmet but decided not to as it would undermine his insignificance. |
